Intralink Transportation Case Study

Intralink is a transportation service company that provides a wide range of cab booking services across the globe. They have different types of pickup and drop facilities and all the necessary features and options that are required in the transportation service company.

Intralink wants to build a booking admin panel for the customers and admin so they can track the booking list and manage the customer requirements, It must have login features, the ability to manage and track customers, drivers, and other users, including adding, editing, and deleting user information and features like assign and manage drivers to specific bookings, track the status of bookings, and view driver locations in real-time. 

Without the wireframe and any clue from the client, we had to create the design of the product so we understood and created the design as per the features the client wanted to add.

Creating a cab booking admin panel can present several challenges, including:

• User experience: The design must be easy to navigate and understand for the administrator to effectively manage and operate the cab booking service.

• Data management: The admin panel must be able to handle and organize large amounts of data, such as customer information, booking details, and driver locations.

• Security: The panel must have proper security measures in place to protect sensitive customer data and ensure the integrity of transactions.

• Real-time updates: The panel should be able to handle and process real-time updates, such as driver locations and booking status changes.

• Scalability: The panel should be able to handle an increasing number of bookings and users as the service grows.

• Mobile-friendly: The panel should be mobile-friendly, as more and more people are using mobile devices to access the internet.

• Integration: The panel should be able to integrate with other systems such as GPS tracking, payment gateways, and customer relationship management systems.

• Flexibility: The panel should be flexible to adapt to different business rules and tariff plans.

• Geolocation: The panel should be able to handle geolocation data and functionality, to be able to show the location of the cars and drivers on maps.

• Performance: The panel should be able to handle a high number of requests and transactions without any delays or downtime.

• We have understood the needs and goals of the administrator and designed the panel to meet their specific needs.

• We have added different types of service features when booking the transport cab, like point-to-point pickup, from specific location pickup or drop, adding stops in between the journey, etc.

• We have created a landing page where customer can book their transport and added multiple options like pickup point, drop point, number of passengers, and luggage count. Customers can also select a different type of vehicle as per their needs. 

• We have created the booking list page so the admin can track and manage the booking.

• We have given a feature to add create delete users and booking lists to the admin. 

• We have designed the whole product as per market standards and color combinations.

• We have integrated the Google Maps API so customers can easily track location and details.

• We have tested all the features from the End user's point of view, solving any issues that may occur when they are used in real-time.
